Организация «Play the Game» published расследование, фиксирующее, что операторы «1xBet» и «22Bet» используют на своих сайтах ретрансляции со стримингового сервиса «FIFA+» в целях организации live-ставок на матчи низших футбольных лиг. В конце октября и начале ноября 2025 года журналисты обнаружили более 100 таких матчей из внутренних лиг Арубы, Кюрасао, Либерии, Малави, Мавритании и Сейшел. Футбольные федерации этих стран также были не в курсе об использовании трансляций для беттинг-деятельности. Неизвестно, получают ли операторы доступ к трансляциям с разрешения FIFA или используют их незаконно.
Трансляции «FIFA+» идут с задержкой 10+ секунд, поэтому поставщики данных для беттинг-операторов «Sportradar» (также партнер FIFA), «Genius Sports» и «Stats Perform» нанимают местных жителей в качестве скаутов за €30-50 за матч для сбора статистики прямо со стадиона и продают эти данные операторам, включая офшорных.
FIFA отказались отвечать на вопросы организации о том, каким образом операторы получают доступ к трансляциям, и сослались на работу с профильными структурами ООН и Интерполом по вопросу договорных матчей.
