Current Risks and Limitations in iGaming

I received a question from the admin of the channel Tikhiy Chas:

I am very interested in your opinion on this material. Does this signify the end of the era of advertising for iGaming affiliates and payment systems, or is it from a completely different sphere? What does this text actually mean?

I don’t even know where to start… I’ll go through the current risks and limitations:

1. Personal brand > personal matter)
   Since last year, arbitrage iGaming teams have started disappearing from the media. The times when people flaunted expensive cars and watches are fading into the past. In gray GEOs, this is a risk; in white ones, it’s cringeworthy)
2. Payments in Russia > transition to cash?
   I’ve heard that in some Asian countries, iGaming is already operating through ‘cash agents’. Agents offline accept deposits and credit them to the player’s balance.
3. On personal safety strategy
   I agree with the advice of the author of the original post; the only thing is, for regular web, I think even the CIS countries are an acceptable option.
4. On CheburNet and blocking Telegram
   Media/channels will not be able to work equally effectively on the audience inside Russia and abroad — a choice will have to be made.

The same applies to iGaming products — it’s unlikely that anyone will be able to successfully maintain positions in RU while simultaneously developing other GEOs. This requires too many resources.
