SEO Automation with Claude Skills: New Flow for 2024

I am currently communicating with some Affiliate SEO teams, and about 30% of them are already transitioning part of their production to Claude Skills. However, when talking to agencies, it becomes clear that hardly anyone there has heard of it, and if they have, they haven’t tested it.

Perhaps because affiliates are originally hustlers who look for «gaps» in search algorithms and advertising systems. Much depends on technology and automation.

In short, the new automation flow for next year will be as follows:

• Senior SEO specialists and analysts «upload» their knowledge into Claude in the form of Skills.
• Middle specialists use these Skills by providing a strictly defined set of data as input and receive quality results with each use of the skill. In other words, with Skills, you achieve consistent quality time after time, unlike prompts that you simply write for the neural network.
• All corporate data sources: Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, Yandex Metrica, and others are connected directly within the skills via the MCP protocol. Now there is no need to share a bunch of accesses and worry about exceeding limits by a specific employee — the Skill itself decides how much to spend.
• Furthermore, particularly successful Skills turn into simple web services: «specify the article URLs for analysis, choose geo, press the button» — thus lowering the entry threshold for obtaining quality results in SEO even further.
• Skills that are used frequently and successfully and need to be activated «autonomously» — for example, at night, so that a report is ready by morning — transition to Claude Agentic SDK. Here, agents themselves decide when to launch which skill and in what format to deliver the result.

In the screenshot — the Agentic SDK scheme + a list of what we have already automated. Currently, we are using the Agentic SDK a little — fine-tuning the skills so that when the result is perfect, we can hand it over to the agents for management.
