CEO and co-founder of Gambling.com Group steps down after 20 years at the helm of the company
Charles Gillespie, who has led the company since its founding in 2006 (20 years!), is handing over the CEO position. He will remain in the business as the executive chairman of the board.
His partner Kevin McChristle, the second co-founder of Gambling.com Group and COO since 2007, will become the new CEO.
Importantly, this is happening amid the transformation of the company itself.
Gambling.com Group is no longer just an SEO affiliate focused on driving traffic. The business is shifting towards a subscription model and data monetization, diversifying marketing, and deeper integration of AI. It makes sense that the operational management model is also changing.
Gillespie commented on the transition:
«…now is the right time to refresh the leadership and hand over management to the most talented leader.»
