Last week, I was finalizing a review of neural networks for photo processing while simultaneously testing them on various tasks.

One of those tasks: take an old photo, enhance its quality, and remove unnecessary people from the shot (I attached the photo to the post).

Overall, they performed quite well, but there were nuances: ChatGPT removed everything, Nano Banana added a modern car, and in the end, even Qwen performed better.

But what surprised me the most was Alice. I initially included her in the selection just as an accessible tool for quick stylizations — it turned out she can do much more.
