They also say there are no jobs for them, the market is dead and that’s it.

This has been the case for a long time, back when I was still looking for authors. People scream that they have been working for 5-10-15 years, but in reality, they can’t do anything, not even the basics.
And it’s just as they write in the comments, if the first line lists experience in numbers — it means there will be problems with the candidate.
