Opinions on Candidates and the Job Market

Several opinions regarding candidates who responded to a large number of job vacancies and did not receive a single offer. Taken from comments under the post on Alexander Usnul’s channel

I had authors with 20 years of experience respond to me, writing worse than I do after a bottle of vodka.

They also say there are no jobs for them, the market is dead and that’s it.

This has been the case for a long time, back when I was still looking for authors. People scream that they have been working for 5-10-15 years, but in reality, they can’t do anything, not even the basics.

And it’s just as they write in the comments, if the first line lists experience in numbers — it means there will be problems with the candidate.

We recently attended a business evening where there was a girl who was a CEO.

She said the number of candidates over 25 has increased by 80%.

The number of vacancies has increased by 4%.

Globally, hiring is severely broken, both in iGaming and outside of it in quite legitimate sectors in Russia.

But a win rate of 60\0 in responses/interviews really makes you think that something is wrong with the person.

By the way, based on hiring experience — candidates who have XX years of experience listed in the first lines are the most problematic: they will even scoff at a normal test for an hour of work, claiming they are unworthy.
