Found an interesting report from Gambling IQ — «Defenders of Trust» on the topic of fraud in iGaming.​

The main types of frod:

• Bonus Abuse: 65.9%
• Money laundering: 10.9%.
• Cryptocurrency fraud: 9.4%
• Payment system fraud: 5.9%
• Chargeback fraud / «Friendly» fraud: 5.6%​
• Betting on opposite outcomes: 2.3%
• Affiliate fraud: traffic and registrations spoofing by bots to get commissions.
• Account hijacking: hacking real players' accounts to steal funds and data.
• Multi-account fraud: creating multiple accounts to circumvent limits and abuse bonuses.
• Card testing: checking the validity of stolen credit cards with small deposits.

Since the survey was conducted among operators, there are no such items as «blocked withdrawals for all players, didn't pay partners for traffic, fired all employees without salary and rode off into the sunset» and similar fraud. And often, this is more important if you are a specialist in the iGaming industry.
