I'm going through Google's patents with examples from gambling. Today - about the distance to seed sites and why PBNs often only strengthen themselves

The patent describes a model where Google looks not only at the number of links, but also at the distance to trusted network nodes - so-called seed sites.
The system builds a link graph and counts how many clicks you need to make from authoritative resources to your page. The shorter the path, the higher the basic level of trust.
