Runway launches AI avatars for websites and apps

I can't help but spread the word about this news because it's pretty awesome!

Runway has launched Characters, a system of autonomous AI avatars that can be embedded into a website, app or service.

The user enters the site and can communicate with a digital character. Such an avatar appears right in the interface and talks to people in real time: answering questions, explaining the product, helping to understand the service.

The character itself is created simply from a single picture. It can be given a voice, instructions and its own knowledge base, then it starts working independently.

Integration is done via Runway API, so these characters can be embedded almost anywhere: in websites, applications, products and services.

Scope, literally everywhere: business and customer support, game characters, streaming, training services, digital assistants inside products.
