Adam Gent he writes: the data reveals that if you count the days since the last crawl and overlay the Google index coverage statuses, a clear pattern emerges.

The 3 no-indexing statuses indicate the priority of crawling your pages.

The 190-day and 130-day study showed that the following time baskets mapped to 3 different statuses without indexing:

✅ 1-130 days: between 1 and 130 days after scanning, 90% pages receive a status of submitted and indexed.
❌ 131-180 days: from 131 to 190 days 50-90% non-indexed pages have status crawled - currently not indexed.
190+ days: 190 days after crawling 90% pages fall off in the Discovered - currently not indexed and/or URL is unknown to Google.

The longer the googlebot procrastinates on rescanning a page, the higher the chance that it will be actively deleted and forgotten.
