Keitaro's conversion rates
So, in the second report I mentioned that my lead and sales numbers didn't add up.
In a private message I was prompted with the following information:
️ If a deposit is made on clickaidi in keitaro, the Lead status is changed to Sale and accordingly something else is taken into account in conversions rather than Lead+Sale.
Total conversions and will be all regs (both with and without deps), it turns out.
On the second question, you can sabaidi some kind of add to the link of the offerer and the pp will be separate.
After that I went to talk to Keitarra's saport, and there you can't figure it out without half a litre.
Turns out Keitaro does:
ℹ️ I originally thought that Leads were about signing up for an affiliate and Sales were about making a deposit. It turned out that there are nuances there where sale overwrites the lead, but deposit does not overwrite the registration.
Verbatim:
️ Version 10 has basic statuses of lead and sale. Registration and deposit are not separate statuses, but aliases for lead and sale with a different mechanism of displaying in reports.
How it works:
1) Lead and sell
If one click first brought in a lead and then sale - the sale overwrites the lead. Only the sale will remain on the report.
2) Registration and deposit
If the click came first registration and then deposit - the report will show 1 registration and 1 deposit one click at a time. The following is important in terms of dates.
In version 10, conversions are tied to the date of the click, not the date of the conversion itself.
If registration was in January, deposit in February, but the click was in January - and you are building a report for January, both registration and deposit will go into January. There will be none in the February report.
After studying my Keitaro stats in a bit more detail, I realised that I only get data on leads/sales from most affiliate networks. Registrations/deposits data only come from 2 networks (leads/sales data also come from them).
We should to sort it out and set up to have registration/deposit data from everyone, but I'm not ready to do it yet, because I have to correspond with all managers and explain what I want. I'd rather have more sites
I'm gonna write about it in my reports from now on:
