Is it worth buying the Google Ai Plus subscription?
Here’s the deal: my subscription to the pro version of Google Gemini expired — and Google is silent. ChatGPT, in such moments, immediately pushes notifications in chats that it’s time to pay up, while Google just quietly shuts down.
Okay.
I checked the subscriptions — and bam: Google Ai Plus for 4 bucks. I read up — it’s basically the same, but for less money.
We need this — let’s go for it.
I used it for a couple of days — overall, it’s sufficient. I exceeded the limits of the pro version once, and that was while working with text — because I have it set as default everywhere in the chat. Although sometimes you can and even should switch to the fast version, for example, when just formatting text from what the pro version has gathered.
About images: I don’t generate them on an industrial scale, so I’ve never exceeded the limit. Also, in the chat, there’s ‘banana 2’ — essentially free with a limit of ~50 generations, sometimes less, and on top of the pro version.
Plus, I need to check the Flow platform — how limits are counted there, if they exist at all.
We’ll keep observing. What plan are you on in Gemini?
