Yesterday, I wrote that Yandex has finally moved to the new Metrica interface. Have you gotten used to it yet? Personally, I have not. Looking at the statistics from the survey, most people want to revert, and I decided to make that happen.

I coded an extension that returns the old interface

Download the archive from the comments under this post
Copy the folder from the archive to your desktop
In the browser’s address bar, type:

In Google Chrome: chrome://extensions/
In Yandex Browser: browser://extensions/

At the top, enable «Developer mode»
Click the button «Load unpacked extension»
Select the folder on your desktop and click «Select Folder»
Open Yandex Metrica and use the old interface
You can disable or remove the extension at any time

What does my extension do?

Replaces the UA that does not support the new interface
Blocks forced redirects from Yandex Metrica
Does not transmit your data anywhere; all code is public
May lag or have bugs — if so, please write in the comments

We are waiting for a fix, but for now, you can use it.
